Find a Preschool / Tadika

Live map search powered by Google Maps — type a town or area, or use your location. Registered tadika are regulated by KPM; childcare (taska) by JKM.

Results are shown live from Google Maps and are not stored, verified or endorsed by CheckSekolah. Always confirm registration and details with the centre directly.

Tadika vs Taska — what is the difference?

A tadika (kindergarten/preschool) serves children aged 4–6 and must be registered with the Ministry of Education (KPM) through the state education department (JPN). A taska (childcare centre) serves children below 4 and is registered with the Social Welfare Department (JKM). Many centres operate both under one roof — always ask which registrations they hold.

What to check before enrolling

① Ask to see the KPM/JPN registration certificate (perakuan pendaftaran) — it should be displayed at the premises. ② Check the teacher-to-child ratio and class size. ③ Ask about the curriculum (KSPK-based, Montessori, Islamic-integrated, or others). ④ Visit during operating hours and watch a session. ⑤ Get the full fee schedule in writing — registration, monthly, materials and meals.
